Golfo Aranci
Golfo Aranci is a small tourist town in the province of Sassari in Sardinia with a unique landscape between beaches and mountains like few others in the Costa Smeralda.
According to some interpretations, the name “Golfo Aranci” derives from an incorrect interpretation of mid-20th century cartographers: Gulfu di li Ranci, ‘gulf of crabs’, became Golfo Aranci. According to others, however, it derives from the proximity to one of the countless coastal ‘pearls’, the beach of Sos Aranzos.
